An image is a reflection of your soul

For me, photography came as a natural part of being outdoors. I live in the south of Sweden and have been travelling for many years due to my work in the airline industry. I have seen amazing places, but what travelling has given me the most is a greater appreciation for my home. I don't consider myself as Swedish,. I see myself as Scandinavian or Nordic.

Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland and Iceland are all in the Scandinavian family. We share language, history and back in the days we shared the beliefs in the Norse gods. We also share a great respect for nature and being outdoors is in our genes. I feel as much at home in either of these countries as I do in Sweden.

My goal is to connect with nature and I love the harsh environment we have in the north. It's cold, windy, dark and many times extreme. But it's also beautiful with snow-capped mountains, midnight-sun, northern lights and wildlife such as cougars, bears and wolfs.

My mind is always thinking of the next trip, how to get there and what the weather will be like at different times of the year. Everything to experience the contrast nature gives us and how to capture that one perfect photo.
